 Jan Dugan: Counseling Psychologist

Jan is a psychologist with over 40 years experience dealing with people of all ages – children, teenagers, adults, couples and families. In all her work she has a practical focus in finding ways in which people can live a healthier, happier and more fulfilling life. She has recently devised a short course to assist people with sleep problems. She has conducted parenting courses over many years and has a special interest in helping people to enhance their relationships.


 Mark Cary: Counseling Psychologist

Mark works as an adult, child and family counsellor providing help for people  of all ages  to overcome a range of problems, including anxiety, depression, anger and trauma, so they can realise a better quality of life and be the best they can be. Mark has over twenty years  experience  as a counsellor and  psychologist working in social and community organisations such  as services for disability, child protection , foster-care and adolescent mental health . Mark special interest is men’s mental health and relationship  programs. As a Director of the Total Health and Education Foundation he is responsible for overseeing the Centre for Healthy Living.


 Jan Gudkovs: Counseling Psychologist

Jan has a deep interest in helping to relieve people’s suffering and to promote their emotional growth and sense of peace and well-being. She has worked with individuals and families to improve a range of conditions including anxiety, stress, depression, PTSD and relationship problems and to help individuals with their personal growth.

She also has an interest in psychosomatic problems and chronic disease.She conducts the Centre's Pain Management Program.

She provides assistance to corporate clients through Employee Assistance Programs and Critical Incident services.

She has undertaken training in Family Therapy and Clinical Hypnosis. Recent trainings in Mindfulness-based therapies have built on her own personal practice of Yoga for over forty years. As a Director of the Total Health and Education Foundation she is responsible for the health and stress programs conducted by the Foundation.

  Noel Ryan: Psychologist

BA (Double Honours) Applied Psychology 1974, University College Cork, National University of Ireland

Noel has worked in a wide range of human service systems for over 40 years and provides individual counselling relating to adjustment to changed life circumstances.

 Clive Savage: Psychologist

Clive has had many years working as a guidance officer with Education Queensland. In this role he has garnered wide experience in assessing children's learning and behavioural problems. As a trained psychologist, he also works with school aged children, including adolescents, and their parents. He also works with adults with a wide range of personal issues.

 Nina Gudkovs: Medical Herbalist

After working as Senior Music Therapist at Multicap in Brisbane, Nina has undertaken training in Western Herbal Medicine. She has a deep interest in helping people with illnesses such as diabetes, heart disease, weight problems and mental health conditions that affect so many people today. She has found that Western Herbal Medicine offers an alternative that supports the body’s natural health-maintaining systems.


Sharon Fern : CAN  DO Program

Sharon is very experienced in assisting children with special needs. She brings to her role a genuine care for people and an ability to prioritise and focus on their identified needs and goals. She ddelivers the Secret Agent Society as part of the CAN DO Program.

The other part of her role is assisting Mark in managing the intake and scheduling of appointments for the CAN DO, as well as liaising with parents and teachers.


 Debbie Lane : Yoga teacher

Debbie has been a student of Yoga for over forty years. She trained initially at the Yoga Education Centre in Melbourne and continued her study of the subject when she moved to Warwick. She is experienced at taking classes for adults and young people, as well as for prenant mothers, and people with a range of chronic diseases.


 Gordana Sloss : Office Manager

Our administrative staff are a vital part of our team. They are responsible for creating an atmosphere of care and welcome that makes the Centre such a special place. Gordana is our go-to person. Every day she sorts out isssues relating to referrals, payments and generally helps out anyone who asks.
